Welcome to Arise...

Week Five: 52 Days of United Prayer to Build God's Wall for You!
[Or, "How to be sure to take advantage of the new move of God"]
Welcome to our 5th week of praying in tongues daily for 30-60 minutes. I am overwhelmed at the response from Arise readers around the world. (Actually, ever since we started these “52 days,” I have received more responses than ever.) This week, I even heard from one of my son’s longtime friends from college. There was also news from a young lady in Taiwan: as she prayed, she got the miracle she needed.
Week 4: 52-Days of United Prayer
Week 3: 52-Days of United Prayer
Week 2: 52-Days of United Prayer
Week 1: 52-Days of United Prayer
Bishop Hamon Meetings in Japan – The conference was a huge success. The turnout was much higher than expected. Truly we are in 3rd Reformation times. As we give ourselves to what God is doing, His blessing is upon it. I also know that so many people praying in tongues the past weeks had a huge impact.
We actually started each meeting by praying vigorously in tongues for 5-10 minutes. Some struggled to “break through” at first, but kept with it. As a result, the presence of the Lord was strong, the teaching/preaching was very sharp and clear, and much impartation occurred during each session.
Everlasting Covenant (Gen. 17:7) – Bishop Hamon spoke an amazing word to Teddy and me, to Sano Church, and to all of Arise. Abram had proved himself faithful, so the Lord said He would “...Establish My covenant...for an everlasting covenant...” Some of the specific things the Lord spoke about us were:
* Great multiplication (17:2) – Numerical increase
* Exceedingly fruitful (17:6) – New ideas and new methods of ministry that will be very fruitful and successful
* Switching from “Abram,” which means “father,” to “Abraham,” which means “father of many nations” – This is a confirmation that Arise is truly to be international network.
* “To you and your descendants after you (17:7)” – This means that the people of Arise will walk with the Lord in fruitfulness and His success.

Two More Benefits of Praying in Tongues:
* Improves Your Sleep (Because you set the Lord before you...) – Because I travel so much and have so many varying issues to handle, I can find myself very restless at night. I found that when I have trouble sleeping, if I stir up the gift (2 Tim. 1:6) then I soon fall asleep. For some reason, if I pray softly and gently, sleep does not come. But whenever I “stir” myself, and pray aggressively, even if silently, I soon fall asleep. I think what occurs is the principle shown in Psalm 16:7-8, “I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me…” Anyway, I have been sleeping VERY well these past weeks.
* Allows Us to Advance During Difficult Testing – For many, this is a month of testing, and as Chuck Pierce says, “a narrow place.” Praying in the spirit will cause us to be able to “leap ahead”. Ps 18:33 (Amplified Bible) states, “He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]; He sets me securely upon my high places.”

2010 Apostolic Prophetic
Center Fund
Bishop Hamon assisted us in taking a special pledge offering to complete paying off the AP center. He said the Lord wants us to enter the new season without any debts from the old. Roughly $65,000 was pledged, reducing the amount needed by Dec. 31 to only $135,000. For those who feel led to help, please contact us. More information is available here.
