52 Days of United Prayer to Build God’s Wall for Expansion in You and in Asia
[Or, “How to be sure to take advantage of the new move of God”]

What: Praying in tongues for 30-60 minutes a day
Who: Everyone connected to ARISE in each nation
Purpose: There is a new move of God being released. This will help us individually, help each other, and bring breakthrough to our nations.
Time Frame: 52 Days – June 25- August 16

Why 52 days? – In Nehemiah’s day they were able to rebuild the entire wall in 52 days. Likewise, we can also expect great results.

Why tongues for 30-60 minutes a day? – Nehemiah is a picture of the Holy Spirit. He did not share his plan or strategy; he just jumped in, began, and others joined him in rebuilding the wall. Praying in tongues allows the Holy Spirit to do what He wants without our having to understand.

Understanding the Times
A couple weeks ago, I did a 3-nation tour with Bishop Hamon (Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia). I soon noticed something unusual. Over the years, I have done many meetings like this with Bishop Hamon. However, this time, something was much, much different. The anointing was really strong, and indeed it felt like we were “shifting” those nations.

In his teaching, Bishop Hamon described the “3rd and Final Church Reformation.” (C. Peter Wagner says this is the best term to describe what God is doing now.) The teaching was great, but I kept meditating on why the anointing and presence of God were so strong. Then I understood. Truly we are in a time of a new move of God.

Prophesying Revival in Kota Kinabalu (KK)

What I am trying to say is that it’s not just the meetings that were great. It’s much more. God is releasing new anointings. Everywhere I go, I see it working. Just last week I was in KK, Malaysia at Skyline Church. The Lord gave us an incredible time. I knew He sent me there to announce and prophesy that revival would take place in KK.

Let’s not squander the change the Lord wants to bring! Part of this prayer will be for our Korea (July 12-18) and Japan (July 18-19) meetings with Bill Hamon, as well as “follow up” for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia. But it’s much more. God is bringing changes and new anointings, and as always, the enemy will strive to neutralize them. He will keep pushing and infiltrating. Just as God sent Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem so that the work of the Lord could go ahead unhindered, this 52-day prayer assignment will allow the Holy Spirit to build walls in our lives, churches, and nations so God’s plans will be able to move ahead.

Example from Japanese politics???

We have lived for 35 years in Japan. Most of those years it was ruled by one political party. Things had gotten stale and the nation has been in the doldrums for a long time. Last fall, a new party was swept into power. There was excitement and hope. However, very little progress has been made and things largely stayed the same.

My point? This is an example of the spiritual. God can bring change and anointings. We have to be sure we have allowed Him to work in us to be spiritually ready. If we are not, then the danger is little lasting change will take place, and in the end things may remain the same.

Just as God sent Nehemiah to rebuild the walls, He is sending the Holy Spirit to spiritually rebuild walls. Please respond to the Holy Spirit. Make it a point to pray in tongues each day (30-60 minutes) starting now until August 16.

Watch for Immediate Results

Oh yes, there will be immediate results! Even after one day, you will begin to see results along the lines that Nehemiah did (cf. Nehemiah 1, 2):

* A new focus and direction in his life (walls of Jerusalem)
* Divinely ordered connections (the King began to talk to him – key people will begin to contact you)
* Favor from those key people (the king gave him favor)
* Favor from secondary people (the Queen overheard and was on his side – God will cause others to impress the key people to give you favor)
* Ease and effectiveness in communication (the King heard him positively, and not negatively, as he well could have)
* Release to do what is on your heart –God will use this prayer to begin to release you into your calling, just as Nehemiah was released to go build the walls
* Promotion – Nehemiah went from cup-bearer to governor of Israel. God wants to promote you!
