ELUL, 6th month of the hebrew calendar

The heavens declare the glory of God (Psalms 19 as well as Psalms 8:1-3) – we look at the moon and the stars and want to know what Glory of God they are declaring. They are declaring the redemptive plan of God into the earth realm and we need to walk in it. The heavens are in a circuit (Psalms 19:6). You can picture this as the Word of God that encircles the earth. If we understand this and receive this, we can pull it in to the earth realm, so to speak. What is the redemptive plan of God for any given month that He wants us to enter into? We need to understand that plan and then walk it out.

The month of the tribe of Gad. When Gad was being born, Leah said, “A troop comes,” (Genesis 30:11 see notes) which indicates increase. Another reference is Genesis 49:19, the blessing that Jacob spoke over him, “Gad, a troop shall tramp upon him, but he shall triumph at last.” This indicates that this is also a month of triumph and victory. Say, “Lord, thank you for great triumph and victory this month.”

The month to camp or find your place in the order of camps or company of the Lord – this is often the head of the year (the beginning of Hebrew year often falls in this month). Many people miss their window to find their place. Therefore, they wander around. Some kind of mistrust came in, preventing them from connecting. If you don’t deal with mistrust correctly, when the new window of opportunity comes, you will not connect, and eventually may end up completely alone. We need other people. This is how we were made. Mistrust of others is a sign of a root of rejection. It will prevent you from coming into the fullness and the strength that you can get from others. This can result in having to go through your wilderness by yourself. Periodically, there will always be seasons of wilderness to go through. Jesus’ example teaches us the wilderness principle: a place of testing that produces testimony, and brings one into confrontation with the enemy. However, this is a warning to be properly connected. If you are isolated, will get easily picked off by the enemy.

If you are going through tragedy, this will be a year of grief. Process it through the victory blessings of each month. There is blessing for each month.

Wilderness is the same – sometimes we must go through, but you can still receive the blessings of each month.

Pray, “Lord, do not let me miss opportunities because of inbuilt mistrust. Deal with rejection in me. You want me to be abundantly connected, not isolated and alone.”
- The month of good fortune – rewards begin to manifest over what you have done. Think, “reward.” What you have sown you will reap. If you carry a burden forever and never see the reward, it will burn you out. You need to know how to abound. Paul said that he knew how to abound (Phil. 4:12). Begin to think, “abounding and abundance.” Start thanking God for and looking for His rewards.
- The month that the King is in the field; approach Him and allow His countenance to shine upon you. You need to learn how to approach Him. There is an awe of God that we come into so He can pour His glory upon us. Pray, “Lord, lift up the light of your countenance upon us (Psalms 4:6).”
- The month of Hebrew alphabet letter “YOD,” which means “appointed mercy from the Hand of God.”
- Month of Virgo (the virgin) “I am My beloved’s and my beloved is mine (Song of Solomon 6:3).
- Month to run into the tower of might (Proverbs 18:10). A strength greater than yours that can encompass you. You don’t have to be strong all the time, but you can enter into His strength.
- Month for inner knowledge of peace to be activated. Always find your time of regrouping to be whole.
- The “point month” – the understanding of the beginning so you can begin to reach your end.
- The month to fix what has been broken. (If He doesn’t tell you it is fixable, let it disintegrate and die.)
- Month of complex systems beginning to be managed.
- The “mother month,” a month of nurturing. This is “apostolic,” just like AV. Who are you watching after? Who is watching after you?
- The month where Rebecca gave birth to Jacob and Esau. Do you “birth” blessing or something that God is going to hate later on. What is contending? What is contending for you?
- The month of the left hand – controlling the sense of action, good or bad emotions. You need to be sure your emotions are in good order. (In other words, let your actions come out of good emotions.) If you were born in this month, you have the ability to stand in great emotional conflict and abound, OR else be a basket case for 3/4 of the time. You have ability to be a burden bearer.
